Dr. Raj Pillai, MD
Introducing Dr. Raj Pillai, our esteemed medical director and Board Certified Family Physician. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Pillai's journey began at the prestigious Madras Medical College and Research Institute, followed by a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Now, leading 1st Care MedSpa, Dr. Pillai combines compassion and expertise to provide top-notch care. With a focus on patient well-being and a commitment to excellence, he ensures that our MedSpa delivers exceptional results tailored to each individual.
Ruth Hoskins, FNP-C
With a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach, Ms. Hoskins is cherished by her patients. Born in Southern Ohio as the youngest of five siblings, her passion for healthcare has been lifelong. Her journey has encompassed roles in skilled nursing, wound care specialization, home health, and ICU. A dedicated learner, she pursued a degree in Wound Care, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) from Metropolitan University, followed by education as a lymphedema management specialist. Completing her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Phoenix, Ms. Hoskins, affectionately known as "Dr. Ruth" by many, continues to practice with unwavering dedication. She finds fulfillment in patient education and witnessing the tangible outcomes of her interventions, embodying her commitment to patient care with fervor.
Mustafa Juma, Med Spa Manager
"MJ," fondly known as Mustafa Juma, is an integral part of our MedSpa team at 1st Care, boasting many years of dedicated service. With his infectious positivity and genuine concern for patient well-being, MJ has become a favorite among our clientele. His commitment to ensuring patient satisfaction is unparalleled, consistently going the extra mile to ensure a delightful experience for all.
Beyond managing the spa and overseeing operations, MJ is a certified laser technician, bringing extensive expertise to his role.
His client-centered approach guarantees personalized care and outstanding results. Armed with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Cairo University, MJ's transition into healthcare reflects his profound passion for making a difference in people's lives.
Outside of work, MJ treasures moments with his family, including his two young children. An avid outdoors enthusiast, he finds solace in activities like hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring new destinations.
Jamie Frekey RN
Meet Jamie, one of our esteemed Registered Nurses at 1st Care MedSpa, specializing in cosmetic injections and laser treatments. With a career spanning since 2014, she's dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in techniques, products, and procedures. Holding a Hospitality Management Degree from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Jamie's qualifications are extensive. Certified as a Cosmetic Injector and Laser Technician through the National Laser Institute, she not only delivers top-notch treatments but also shares her expertise by teaching courses. From Neurotoxins to Laser Hair Removal, Jamie's certifications encompass a wide array of procedures, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. Beyond her professional prowess, Jamie is known for her vibrant personality. An outgoing extrovert, she delights in connecting with our patients, volunteering in the community, cherishing family time, and exploring the world through travel.Completing her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Phoenix, Ms. Hoskins, affectionately known as "Dr. Ruth" by many, continues to practice with unwavering dedication.
